Imagine it's a beautiful summer afternoon and someone says, "Want to go grab lunch?" You don't grab the car keys. You grab the boat keys. One of the fun things about being at Sunset Village is having nearby destinations you can enjoy from the water. Head out for a boat ride, tie up at a nearby restaurant, enjoy lunch or dinner and maybe catch some live music on certain weekends. Then cruise back home. No complicated vacation itinerary. No long drive. Just another ordinary summer day that feels a little like vacation. That's what we mean by resort-style livin g. It's about having fun things to do close to home. Boat ride. Lunch. Music. Sunset cruise home. We could get used to that routine.

It's where you'll walk the dog, where neighbors stop to chat, where grandchildren arrive excited for a visit, and where you'll turn in after an afternoon on the water and think: It's good to be home. Who wants Sunset Drive to be their Minnesota summer address?

A 55+ community doesn't mean the grandchildren disappear! One reason many people want a seasonal Minnesota home is to remain close to family.
